Our parish will be holding a virtual Advent Day of Reflection on December 5th from 11 am to 1 pm. Our theme will be centered on "The Star of Bethlehem: Finding Jesus in Difficult Times."
There will be two reflections and some discussion, the aim of which will be get us following the Light that Jesus is much as the wise men followed the Star of Bethlehem to eventually arrive at the manger.
The Holy Family and the three wise men traveled far, suffered many trials, and were challenged both physically and spiritually in their journeys to arrive at the stable to welcome Jesus on Christmas morning.
Our reflection time will aim to get us pondering our preparation and hopefully get us started following The True Star of David as we experience Advent on the way to welcoming Jesus in our hearts and minds on Christmas Day.
