Frances Ann Goode (Sissy), 85, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away surrounded by family at Burnett Hospice House Care facility in Prince Frederick on September 22, 2019.  She is survived by her children, Carl Hayes III (Cheryl), Gary Hayes (Lisa), and Kellie Crigger (David).  Survived by grandchildren, Michael Crigger (Michelle), Melonie Sikes (Chris), Lisa Hayes (Sara), Dustin Crigger, (Cynthia), and Brandon Crigger.  Great grandchildren Declan Sikes and Jackson, Carly and David Crigger.  Brother Elmer Mockabee (Betty), Doris Stanfield and Delores Link (Alan).  As well as many nieces and  nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Goode; brother Melvin Mockabee; and grandson Carl Hayes IV.

Frances was born in Washington DC, raised in Capitol Heights.  She graduated from Suitland Senior High School in 1953.  She spent her career working at National Geographic Society before retiring and moving to Tavares, Florida.  She returned to Maryland in 2016 residing in Prince Frederick.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed eating crabs, gambling and shopping.  She was a loving and very giving individual with a very big heart.  She will be greatly missed by all.
