Location:Family Life Center - Teen Room (Sullivan Room)
This series presents middle school youth with the reality of God as the Creator, a Trinity of Divine Persons who exist in a communion of love, who created them as a pouring out of that love. Youth will see themselves in God’s plan of great love for humanity, who sent Jesus Christ as the ultimate sign of love, redeeming them from their sins and opening the way to heaven.
The information is presented through an origami theme. In its most basic sense, paper folding transforms something ordinary into something beautiful and multi-dimensional. The art of folding is meditative and creative and provides a metaphor for the great love and care of the Creator when creating each of us.
Through interactive Edge sessions, middle school youth are encouraged to view the teachings of the Church and examine them “fold by fold” until a concept is fully laid before them. We encourage you to have fun and use the theme as a practical way to teach the youth these important concepts.
Parents are invited to join for Adoration and Reconciliation on the sixth Edge Night which is tentatively scheduled for 8/7/2024.
