Into The Breach – is a 4 week exploration of Catholic Men’s spirituality using Bishop Olmstead’s Apostolic Exhortation titled “Into the Breach.” Spirituality among men. Sunday only Catholics go to church and then during the week blend into our culture unseen and walking on the margins of an increasingly pagan culture. In four meetings we will read and review Bishop Olmstead’s work, Into the Breach and use our readings to fuel our discussion of living male Catholic spirituality in our times. Our discussions will be framed around our readings and discussion questions designed to take a look at what we face as men in our changing culture and society. Please consider joining us on Saturdays after the 8:00 am morning mass. We will meet in the Library in the basement of the church starting about 8:45 am and ending around 10:30 am. The first meeting will be on May 11th and will be followed by 3 subsequent meetings on May 18th, June 1st, and the final meeting on June 8th. We will not be meeting on May 25th because that is Memorial Day Weekend. Please consider joining us for a lively discussion of what it is to be a male Catholic in our times.
